Volunteer

  I volunteer with MCDSIG because they have been integral to our family’s success. When we first found out that Porter had Down syndrome, we heard terrible things from doctors. The families of MCDSIG quickly provided us with positivity. Once we met individuals with Down syndrome and their families, we realized that we’d received a blessing and not a curse. The village that has been built by the families, the supportive community that exists, is something that I hope will continue for generations ahead!
